Athleta: power of she

In January 2017, Athleta launched their Power of She campaign, celebrating female empowerment and inclusion. I interviewed all the women involved for Q&A features, and pitched and wrote individual topic articles highlighting their particular expertise: beginning every day with positivity, creating a more inclusive world, etc. All words that appear on the Power of She hub are mine. The first few days of the launch saw more traffic than Athleta's e-commerce site; a first for the company.

 

 

Athleta: Chi Blog Lead Writer

As an ongoing "ghostwriter" contributer to Athleta's Chi Blog, I write long-form pieces highlighting and celebrating healthy living through physical activity. Articles are crafted from headline prompts, my own interviews, and ideas I've pitched.

Square: brand Product Overview Video

Copywriting, Script Writing, Content Marketing, Production

Square wanted a video that showed its entire product ecosystem in a way that was informative, but fun. As the solo producer, I touched every aspect of the production, from script, to visuals, to booking and organizing the entire 4 day shoot.

ROAMING HUNGER: VOICE AND BRAND GUIDE

Food truck management and catering company, Roaming Hunger, reached out for a voice and brand guide to accompany their redesign. It was the first of its kind, so working from customer insights and market research, I created the whole thing from scratch.

ROAMING HUNGER: SEO BLOG POST

SEO, Content Strategy, Copywriting, Content Marketing, Blog Posts, Articles, Research,

Roaming Hunger wanted to build off a popular blog post they published last year, while maintaining the SEO equity they'd already built. I took the idea of "corporate holiday party ideas" and refreshed the content under theme party ideas, like, "So Tonight I'm Gonna Party Like It's 1999." 

It became RH's top-performing post and at one point accounted for 10% of the site's total traffic.

Host Stories is an ongoing content series that celebrates and highlights Airbnb Hosts and the stories they create and share. Using interviews, listing information, and guest reviews, I wrote these mini human interest stories for Facebook and Instagram

LendingHome: ACTING MANAGing EDITOR

LendingHome is reinventing the home mortgage process, specifically for a millennial, first time homebuyer audience. During this ongoing client relationship I advised the marketing team through a rebranding; acted as a Managing Editor, oversaw writers to build out FAQ + blog content for a soon-to-be-launched consumer product; and fulfilled various copy needs including: site, email marketing, user flow. 

 

LikeMinded.org: Best Practices Marketing Guidebook

LikeMinded is a crowd-funding platform that supports non-profits. They needed a way to help users get the most out of their campaigns by marketing them. I researched and wrote a 56 page guidebook that covered everything from guerrilla and social marketing to setting up rewards. Within days of launching, one of our initial campaigns was funded 214%.

Buzzfeed + Milk-Bone: Sponsored Post

Milk-Bone wanted to remind pet owners and Buzzfeed readers the best holiday present you can give your furry friend is a Milk-Bone treat. I sourced all the images and wrote all the copy, which needed to embody a Milk-Bone voice that would resonate with Buzzfeed's audience.
